Prof. Fushuan Wen

Zhejiang University, China

BiographyProfessor Fushuan Wen received the B.E. and M.E. degrees from Tianjin University, Tianjin, China, in 1985 and 1988, respectively, and the Ph.D. degree from Zhejiang University, Hangzhou, China, in 1991, all in electrical engineering. He joined the faculty of Zhejiang University in 1991, and has been a full professor and the director of the Institute of Power Economics and Information since 1997, and the director of Zhejiang University-Insigma Joint Research Center for Smart Grids since 2010. He is now a Professor in Energy Systems at Tallinn University of Technology, taking leaves from Zhejiang University. He has been undertaking various teaching, research and visiting appointments in National University of Singapore (NSTB Postdoctoral Fellow, Research Fellow), Hong Kong Polytechnic University (Research Fellow, Visiting Assistant Professor), University of Hong Kong (Research Assistant Professor), South China University of Technology (University Distinguished Professor), University of New South Wales in Australia (ARC Project Senior Fellow, Senior Visiting Fellow), Queensland University of Technology in Australia (CSIRO and ARC Project Visiting Fellow), Brunei University of Technology (Professor in Power Systems), Technical University of Denmark (Otto Monsted Guest Professor in Power Systems), Nanyang Technological University in Singapore (Visiting Fellow), Murdoch University in Australia (Adjunct Professor), Hangzhou Dianzi University in China (Yusheng XUE Education Foundation Distinguished Professor), Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organization (CSIRO) in Australia (Honorary Visiting Scientist).

Assoc. Prof. Wei Wei

Xi'an University of Technology, China

BiographyDr. Wei Wei is an associate professor of School of Computer Science and Engineering,Xi'an University of Technology, Xi'an 710048, China. He is a senior member of IEEE, CCF. He received his Ph.D. and M.S. degrees from Xi'an Jiaotong University in 2011 and 2005, respectively. He ran many funded research projects as principal investigator and technical members. His research interest is in the area of  wireless networks, wireless sensor networks Application, Image Processing, Mobile Computing, Distributed Computing, and Pervasive Computing, Internet of Things, Sensor Data Clouds, etc. He has published around one hundred research papers in international conferences and journals. He is an editorial board member of FGCS, IEEE Access, AHSWN, IEICE, KSII, etc. He is a TPC member of many conferences and regular reviewer of IEEE TPDS, TVT, TIP, TMC, TWC, JNCA and many other Elsevier journals.

Prof. Eric Cheng

Hong Kong Polytechnic University

Biography: Prof Eric Cheng obtained his BSc and PhD degrees both from the University of Bath in 1987 and 1990 respectively.  Before he joined the Hong Kong Polytechnic University in 1997, he was with Lucas Aerospace, United Kingdom as a Principal Engineer and led a number of power electronics projects. He is the electrical designer for the Hong Kong 1st commercial electric vehicle in Hong Kong.  He is also the designer for the 1st charging network in Hong Kong.   He received the numerous awards related to electrical engineering, energy and automotive.   He has published over 500 papers and 7 books.  He has over 100 interviews by media on his research and development. He is now the professor and director of Power Electronics Research Centre of the university.  His research interests are all aspects of power electronics, Power Quality, Renewable Energy, Motor Drives, Energy Storage, Energy Saving, Power Distribution, EMI, High Speed Rail, Electric Vessel, Electric Vehicle and Automotive advanced components.   He is the recipient of the international award in Seoul International Invention Fair 2015 Gold prize for his contribution in super-capacitor to electric vehicles, 2016 iCAN Gold Medal for his contribution in  active suspension, and Gold Award of Hong Kong Innovation and Technology in 2017 and Geneva’s Invention Expo Silver Award for his contribution in antilock braking system, in 2021.  Prof. Cheng is a fellow of IEEE and IET.

Prof. Kai Wang

Qingdao University, China

Biography: He won the first prize of excellent academic paper of natural science in Liaoning Province and the second prize of excellent academic paper of natural science in Dalian City, the first prize of the fifth intelligent manufacturing innovation and entrepreneurship project, more than 10 invention patents, more than 10 utility models, and one soft book. He has presided over 8 scientific research projects, 5 teaching and research projects, and participated in more than 10 projects as the main participant. He has been awarded as an excellent reviewer of Applied Energy and Journal of Electrical Engineering, and has published more than 30 SCI and EI retrieved papers.

Research Areas: state evaluation and life prediction of new energy storage devices; energy storage components; storage and conversion of new energy; distributed microgrid and energy storage; energy internet; ladder utilization of energy storage devices, etc.

Prof. Daniel Quevedo

Queensland University of Technology, Australia

Biography: Daniel E. Quevedo (Fellow, IEEE) received the M.Sc. degree in electronics engineering from Universidad Técnica Federico Santa María, Valparaíso, Chile, in 2000, and the Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering and computer science from the University of Newcastle, Callaghan, NSW, Australia, in 2005., He is currently a Professor of cyber-physical systems with the School of Electrical Engineering and Robotics, Queensland University of Technology (QUT), Brisbane, QLD, Australia. His research interests include networked control systems, control of power converters, and cyber-physical systems security., Dr. Quevedo is an Associate Editor for IEEE Control Systems and is in the Editorial Board of the International Journal of Robust and Nonlinear Control. From 2015 to 2018, he was Chair of the IEEE Control Systems Society Technical Committee on Networks & Communication Systems.

Assoc. Prof. Lisu Yu

Nanchang University, China

Biography: He has published lots of top international journals or flagship conferences papers as the first author or corresponding author, including IEEE Vehicular Technology Magazine, IEEE Communications Standards Magazine, IEEE Internet of Things Journal, IEEE Transactions on Vehicular Technology, and so on. He has served as the student activities chair of IEEE Communication Society Chengdu Chapter and several international conferences technical program committee (TPC) member, Section Chair and Special Track Chair, including IEEE BigData, IEEE WCSP, and so on. He is now serving as an Area Editor of the Elsevier Physical Communication, Editors of the Elsevier Computer Communications, PeerJ Computer Science, PLOS ONE, and Frontiers in Signal Processing for Communications, and a Managing Guest Editor of Elsevier Internet of Things and Cyber-Physical Systems, and IEEE Communications Society Technical Committee on Green Communications and Computing (TCGCC) and Signal Processing and Computing for Communications (SPCC) Members. He is a Senior Member of CIC, Member of IEEE, Member of CCF.
